How Can I Clear My Acne?

by proactive acne

Getting rid of acne can be one of the toughest challenges we face in our lives. As a previous sufferer, I can tell you their is no overnight treatment for clearing your pimples. I have tried for many years to try and clear my acne for good, I have eventually succeeded, lets find out how.

First of all let me tell you that their are no guarantees for clearing your acne, this is because everyone is different. Diets, skin types and lifestyle can have a huge effect on pimples, this is an important step in understanding how to keep your skin clear.

Lets try and narrow down the reason why you may have acne, is it caused by stress, diet or age. These are just some simple things you must take into account before even starting any kind of acne treatment. If it is possible that one of these is causing your outbreaks, try changing the food you eat, or spend more time relaxing. Their is no use spending money on expensive creams or tablets, when a simple thing like a high fat diet is causing your problem.

If it is none of these, then we must then look at other issues. The reason I have acne is because my skin is naturally oily. I tried changing the food I ate, kept my skin clean and also tried to reduce my stress level, but my condition did not change.

How can I clear my acne? Here’s a few tips-

1. Clean your skin everyday with warm water. Try not to apply too many oil lotions or cleansers to the affected area. In the past I have found that over cleaning the skin can cause problems. Remember that you need some of your natural oils to help keep your face and body healthy, over cleaning will cause your body to produce more.

2. Increasing your vitamin c intake has been shown to lower the amount of acne outbreaks. This can be done with citrus fruits such as oranges, lemons and limes. You can also take vitamin c supplements, but the natural method of fruit is always better.

These are just some simple ways of keeping your acne outbreaks to a minimum. Before trying any of these great treatments, always try applying to a small area first, to make sure you do not have any adverse affects.
