Acne Problem? Use These Homemade Acne Remedies and Save Dollars!
There are many homemade acne remedies that work amazingly well and will save you literally, hundreds of dollars! I’m not going to waste time on this one. Let’s get right to it.
1. Eliminate sugar from your diet - Yeah, I understand this is difficult but sugar robs your body of vitamins and minerals that you need to fight the bacteria that cause acne. Try it for two weeks. You will be pleasantly surprised.
2. Take Vitamin A, Niacin and Zinc - These three vitamins will help fight acne in a big way and not only help you fight the acne but will make you feel better. It’s definitely one of our best homemade remedies. Make sure you take at least 100 mg of Niacin and 50,000 IU of Vitamin A and 50 mg. of zinc per day. If you can at the beginning, double or triple the Niacin and Vitamin A to jump start it.
3. Lemon or orange peel - Rub on affected areas before bed and allow to stay on all night. Wash your face in the morning.
4. Fenugreek Leaves - Make a paste of crushed leaves and warm water to the consistency of a very thick cake batter. Apply to pimples individually. Leave on overnight and wash face in the morning. Some people who use this as one of their homemade acne remedies see results in the first night.
5. Cucumber - Grate cucumber and add a bit of warm water to make into a paste. Put all over face and lie down for 30 minutes. Wash your face and pat dry. This is wonderful for your skin and is also a perfect treatment to prevent acne once your face has cleared.
6. Tea Tree Oil - Dab on pimples and let dry after you’ve first washed your face.
7. Toothpaste - Everyone talks about toothpaste helping acne, but most people do not explain that it has to be the original toothpaste. Do not get gel, whitener or mint flavored. That will only serve to aggravate and irritate your acne. Dab on at night and wash in the morning.
These homemade acne remedies have been working for hundreds of years before acne medication even existed. Try them all. You will be very surprised at how well they work!
